Minimal Downtime
Most patients are able to return to normal daily activities the same day. Temporary activity restrictions may be recommended following treatment, and these will be reviewed with you before you leave. Vigorous exercise should generally be avoided for approximately one week following treatment. Individual recommendations will be reviewed during your visit

Aftercare
You’ll receive detailed aftercare instructions, including compression recommendations, activity guidance, and information about what to expect following treatment. It is recommended to avoid sun exposure for 4 weeks.
Healing & Results
Mild redness, bruising, tenderness, or temporary discoloration can occur after treatment. Treated veins gradually fade over several weeks to months, and more than one session may be needed for optimal improvement.
Compression
Compression stockings are recommended following sclerotherapy to support healing, reduce swelling, and help optimize your treatment results. Compression stockings should be worn as directed for approximately two weeks following treatment. Please purchase these prior to your appointment. You may wear any brand or style as long as they are 20-30 mmHg.
